¢º Accidental Death and Dismemberment Insurance

The full amount will be paid in the event of accidental death; the amount of insurance will be paid in the event of loss of limbs or bodily functions.

¢º International Travel Medical Insurance 

This plan provides medical expenses incurred by an insured who suffers illness or injury overseas and receives medical care overseas, including a medical examination, surgery, nursing, hospitalization, etc.

¢º National Accident Hospitalization Insurance (*Applicable to international students)

If an insured is hospitalized for injury and receives treatments in a hospital, 90% of the total amount of the c-payment and non-covered benefits (excluding a difference from upper-level room rates) will be reimbursed among the care benefits stipulated by the National Health Insurance Act.

¢º National Accident Outpatient Insurance  (*Applicable to international students)

If an insured receives treatments provided by a national medical center for the injury that occurred while traveling overseas, which does not require an overnight stay in hospital, the amount after subtracting any deductible from the total sum of co-payment and non-covered benefits will be reimbursed per visit (visits are limited to 180 each year effective on the contract date)

-Deductibles: 10,000 won (medical practitioner), 15,000 won (hospital), and 20,000 won (specialized general medical centers)

¢º National Accidental Prescription (*Applicable to international students)

If an insured visits a national medical center and receives prescriptions for the injury that occurred while traveling overseas, the amount after deducting 8,000 won from the total sum of co-payment and non-covered benefits will be reimbursed per prescription (prescriptions are limited to 180 each year effective on the contract date)

¢º International Sickness Medical Insurance

If an insured receives a doctor¡¯s treatments at an overseas medical center for the sickness that occurred while traveling overseas, the full amount of medical expenses paid by the insured will be reimbursed not exceeding the limit of the amount of insurance.

¢º National Sickness Hospitalization (*Applicable to international students)

If an insured is hospitalized for a sickness and receives treatments in a hospital, 90% of the total amount of the c-payment and non-covered benefits (excluding a difference from upper-level room rates) will be reimbursed among the care benefits stipulated by the National Health Insurance Act.

If an insured receives treatments provided by a national medical center for a sickness, which does not require an overnight stay in hospital, the amount after subtracting the deductible of each item from the total sum of co-payment and non-covered benefits stipulated by the National Health Insurance Act will be reimbursed per visit not exceeding the limit of the amount of insurance.

¢º National Sickness Prescription  (*Applicable to international students)

If an insured visits a national medical center and receives prescriptions for the sickness that occurred while traveling overseas, the amount after deducting 8,000 won from the total sum of co-payment and non-covered benefits will be reimbursed per prescription (prescriptions are limited to 180 each year effective on the contract date)

¢º Special Accident Insurance

This plan provides coverage for search and rescue expenses if an aircraft or a ship an insured is aboard is missing or in distress, or if the insured is in distress while climbing a mountain. Expenses for emergency transport and evacuation, and for repatriation in the event of death will be also insured.

The coverage also includes the general expenses incurred to the insured or the legal inheritor of the insured.

Damages Not Covered

Intention of the policyholder or the insured / Self-injury, suicide, suicide attempt, criminal offense, or act of violence of the insured (However, insurance money shall be paid in the case of self-defense as defined under the Criminal Act and/or emergency evacuation)/ Disease of the insured/ Psychosomatic disorder or mental disease of the insured. / Pregnancy of the insured, birth (including caesarian operation), abortion, surgery, and other medical disposition.

Documents Required When Requesting Insurance Money

¨ç   The policy holder, or the insured (or the beneficiary) shall submit the following documents when requesting the payment of insurance money.

         1.     Applications (Company specified forms)

         2.    Certificate of accidents (death certificate, medical reports, certification, hospitalization and/or others)

         3.     Identification cards (Identification cards issued by the Government such as the resident registration cards or driver licenses with photos attached, including certificates of official seal impression in case the applicant is not the beneficiary himself/herself)

         4.    Other documents required to receive insurance money.

     ¨è     If a certificate of accidents specified in item 2, Paragraph above is issued by hospitals or clinics, such hospitals or clinics shall be the domestic hospitals or clinics as prescribed by the provisions of Article 3 (medical institutions), Medical Act, or overseas medical clinics recognized by the company as being equivalent.
